This presentation takes a look at several of the larger companies owned by the corporation, as well as the corporation's history from 1929 to its demise in 1937. 

Errett Lobban Cord's empire started with automobiles and grew to encompass all forms of transportation, eventually owning a controlling interest in 60 different companies. The Cord Corporation was formed as a holdings company for his many interests.
