Spencerville Supper on the Bridge

Spencerville-BridgeSpencerville's “Supper on the Bridge” is held each year in August on the historical Spencerville Covered Bridge. Built in 1873, this is the only covered bridge left in DeKalb County. You will be served a catered meal by Dutch Heritage Baking and Catering, and live music will be played while you are dining. Cost is $30.00 per person.

Garden Walk

The Garden Walk is an annual event featuring several private and public gardens. Visitors can view these gardens to acquire ideas on landscaping, garden maintenance, plant selection, and use of hardscaping. This event is a fundraiser for the DeKalb Show Choirs of DeKalb High School.

cyclefestListen for the rumble of over 300 motorcycles as they ride into Auburn, Indiana in June for CycleFest. This annual event includes a Cyclefest Fun Run, bike skills events, and a People's Choice Bike Show. Good food & beverages, good times, a beer tent and great music round out this fun filled event held in downtown Auburn at the Auburn Moose Family Center; one block south of the courthouse square.

DeKalb County Free Fall Fair

Free-Fall-Fair“America’s Largest Family Reunion” can be found at the Free Fall Fair in Auburn. The fair offers National Main Stage Entertainment, a Midway, the best fair Food Vendors and one of the largest Merchant's tents around, 4-H competitions, Parades and so much more! The DeKalb County Fair is one of the largest Street Fairs in the state, has won many honors and is truely a "FREE" event! Join us every year for fair week beginning on the 4th Monday each September!

Butler Days

Held in August, the festival promotes the cultural and historical heritage of the Butler community. Some of the activities you will experience are many kids activities & contests, antique tractors and engines, museum exhibits, car cruise-ins, 3k/5k walks, talent shows, downtown merchant sales, and a parade. All of this ending on Saturday evening with a large fireworks display.

Ashley-Hudson Festival

The festival is held the first Saturday in August, and begins at 6:00 a.m. with a pancake and sausage breakfast at the Hudson Volunteer Fire Department. A parade starts at 11:00 a.m. in Hudson and ends in Ashley, followed with crafts, food, games and entertainment until 4:00 p.m. The day ends with  a street dance in Hudson until 12:00 midnight.

Festival of Lights

festival-of-lightsThis event is held annually the second week in December, sponsored by the Lakewood Park Baptist Church. It is one of the area’s largest Christmas Celebrations with over 40,000 computerized lights. Lakewood Park Baptist Church invites you to join them for a night of music, drama, comedy and fun.

Annual Strawberries in the Park Festival

Sponsored by the Auburn Garden Club, the annual event will be held on the third Wednesday in June  from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in downtown Auburn. Delicious homemade strawberry shortcakes, children’s activities, clowns, music, community and family fun, round out the day’s events.

St. Joe Pickle Festival

pickle-festivalHeld at the end of July. Some of the highlights include a Pickle Derby, Pickle People Contest and Pickle Cook-Off. Entertainment is held each day with lots of crafters and food vendors. Grand finale parade and tours of Sechler’s Pickle factory on Saturday.
