Auburn to Host Great Race

For you car enthusiasts, mark your calendar for June 28, 2017 when Hemmings Motor News Great Race will stop in Auburn for dinner and overnight stay. The Great Race is the world’s premiere old car rally, bringing 120 antique automobiles to the Classic Car Capital of the World, with teams from Japan, England, Germany, Canada and United States all competing for the $150,000 event.

This event is free to the public. Bring family and friends to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum to welcome the Great Race with cheers as the driver’s cross the day’s finish line in the Classic Car Capital of the World! Stick around to meet the drivers, relish the stories, grab a bite to eat and check out those cars! It is common for kids to climb in the cars for a first-hand look. Afterwards, don’t miss your chance to show your ride to the drivers! Drive your relished automobile to the historic Auburn Auction Park for a post-party cruise in featuring a live band!
