This month the museum will take a look at “The Car of Tomorrow.” The 1952 Crosley in the collection of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum was originally owned by Frank Lloyd Wright. It has been completely restored and painted in Wright's signature color, “Cherokee Red.” Crosley automobiles were introduced in 1939, and by 1948 had found some degree of success posting record sales and offering a range of body styles. By 1952 however, sales were just 1/3 of the 1948 levels and production was brought to an end.
